This Week at Breakfast Lab
Raising money for your startup isn’t just about having a great idea; it’s about understanding how investors think.
In this session, we’ll break down the fundamentals of startup investing, from how investors evaluate risk to what they expect in return. You’ll learn how funding stages work (from seed to exit), where different types of capital come from, and how angels, venture capitalists, and corporate investors each approach opportunities differently.
We’ll also dig into what actually makes a company investable—what investors look for, common mistakes founders make when fundraising, and how to position your business to increase your chances of getting funded. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the funding landscape and what it takes to navigate it with confidence.
