This Week at Breakfast Lab

Starting a business means making a lot of technology decisions fast, and it’s hard to know what you actually need and what can wait.

In this session, the team from SJA Solutions will walk through the technology a new business needs to launch and run. You’ll get a practical, vendor-aware look at the essentials, from your domain, email, and Microsoft 365 setup to the tools that keep you secure, organized, and paid.

We’ll cover core platform and workspace setup, communication and meeting tools, sales and marketing tools, finance and contracts, and how to use AI assistants responsibly with a written data policy and human review. We’ll also dig into identity and security basics like multifactor authentication and password managers, plus backup and resilience, including why you should test a restore. You’ll leave with a clear checklist and a sense of what to set up first.
