This Week at Breakfast Lab

The work does not stop arriving just because you found focus or delegated one task. New requests, calendar commitments, meeting follow-ups, ideas, and loose ends keep showing up—and most productivity systems fail because they rely on memory and heroic effort to catch them all.

In this hands-on session, you’ll design a lightweight AI-supported capture and routing system for your incoming work. We’ll explore how AI can help surface tasks from the places work already appears, including calendars and meeting follow-up, then help you decide what needs your attention now, what belongs in a focused work block, and what can be delegated or deferred.

You’ll leave with a practical model for running your personal operating system: protecting focus, handing off the right work, and keeping new commitments from disappearing into the noise.

Attendees should bring:

  • A laptop
  • A current calendar and task list, or a representative sample of incoming work
  • One recurring source of “things falling through the cracks” they would like to improve
  • A paid ChatGPT or Claude subscription (recommended)
