This Week at Breakfast Lab

AI is most useful when it does more than answer a question. The real leverage comes when you can hand it a bounded outcome, give it the context and guardrails it needs, and let it work while you stay responsible for the judgment that matters.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to turn a longer-running task into a delegation brief for AI. We’ll cover what to delegate, what not to delegate, how to supply clear instructions and source material, and how to build useful checkpoints so you are not blindly trusting an agent or stuck supervising every keystroke.

Participants will adapt one real task into a practical delegation workflow: something that can move forward while they work on higher-value priorities. This session builds directly on the protected focus time from Session 1, but it also stands alone for anyone who wants a better way to use AI on substantial work.

Attendees should bring:

  • A laptop
  • A current calendar and task list, or a representative sample of incoming work
  • One recurring source of “things falling through the cracks” they would like to improve
  • A paid ChatGPT or Claude subscription (recommended)
