About the Presenter
Jerry Hollister is Co-Owner of BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting (BBCetc), having joined the firm in 2017 and becoming co-owner in 2023. He leads customer development efforts and oversees BBCetc’s NSF, DoD, DOE, and USDA team, supporting clients across multiple federal agencies, and serves as an SBIR/STTR reviewer for NSF, DOE, USDA, and NOAA.
Jerry began his career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps and served as a warranted DoD Contracting Officer. Prior to BBCetc, he was Chief Operating Officer of Niowave, where he helped build the company from startup to national prominence, leading teams that secured over 45 SBIR/STTR awards totaling more than $20 million. He continues to serve on Niowave’s Board of Directors and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan along with two AI certificates from MIT.
