Stephanie Coate

In her role as Manager of Client Engagement, Stephanie is one of the first points of contact for the region’s entrepreneurs and founders seeking assistance on how to start and grow their business. She is passionate about meeting people, learning about their business, and helping early-stage businesses get the support they need to thrive.

Stephanie brings to the 20Fathoms team nearly two decades of experience in early-stage and scaling companies in professional and community development. She also brings first-hand knowledge of entrepreneurship to her role, having co-founded an e-commerce venture. She cut her teeth in the startup ecosystem through the University of Chicago’s New Venture Challenge and TechStars Chicago. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago.

When away from her desk, Stephanie can be found working in her flower garden at The Botanic Garden, pursuing her art practice, swimming as often as she can, and chasing after her dog on the many hikes in the region.
