The Startup + Tech Hub is an online community created by 20Fathoms that provides resources and connections for the region’s entrepreneurs, tech professionals, and ecosystem partners. At 20Fathoms, we help businesses grow. We remove barriers and provide resources including startup incubation and coworking services for local entrepreneurs and tech professionals.
The inability for businesses to find qualified tech talent is one of the most impactful barriers of growth. That’s why since 2019 our services have also included tech workforce development. During the first two years of this initiative, we worked with local employers to identify critical needs and provided tech education to more than 250 local individuals.
Our goal is to build a network of highly-qualified technology professionals in Northern Michigan that aligns with the needs of local employers and supports our region’s emerging tech hub.

Most jobs posted pay at, or above, $45,000/ year or at least $22/hour.
