Wes Sovis

Wes manages development and fundraising, working with community members interested in supporting and engaging in 20Fathoms’ work. He enjoys building meaningful connections with the startup and entrepreneur community across the region.

Wes’ background is in nonprofit development and communications. Most recently he served as the Director of Development & Communications at Norte Youth Cycling. Wes holds a Bachelor of History from Grand Valley State University. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Traverse City.

Wes was raised in Traverse City and loves everything about living and working in the coolest little town in the country. When he is not working, he is an avid cyclist and runner, and enjoys spending time on the beach with his wife Renee and dogs Waldo and Ziggy.
