Mike helps founders navigate the complex world of startup growth and capital. As Manager of Startup Capital at 20Fathoms, he supports entrepreneurs as they explore funding opportunities and growth pathways, from grants and state programs to angel and venture investment. Whether a founder is refining an idea, preparing to raise capital, or scaling a growing company, Mike helps them clarify their next steps, identify relevant opportunities, and build connections with the right people and resources.
He brings a multidisciplinary background spanning entrepreneurship support, leadership development, public diplomacy, and strategic partnerships. Mike has designed and led programs for entrepreneurs and emerging leaders and built partnerships across the business, education, nonprofit, and innovation sectors. He has supported entrepreneurs from more than 60 countries. Mike has also completed coach training through Gallup and Accomplishment Coaching. Mike holds a B.A. from The College of Wooster and a M.Phil in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation from Trinity College Dublin. Outside of work, Mike enjoys distance running, hiking, canoeing, and exploring northern Michigan.
