New Matching Campaign Supports Startup Programs

By 20Fathoms

20Fathoms is pleased to announce a matching campaign fundraiser launching today and running through November, thanks to the generous support of Honor Bank.

“We have seen a huge demand for our startup programs this fall, and this funding will allow 20Fathoms to further expand our services to support more startups and small businesses who are eager to launch their businesses in Northern Michigan,” explains 20Fathoms’ Manager of Development Wes Sovis. “Ultimately, chipping in helps create more tech-based, well-paying jobs in our region as these startups find success with your help.”

Honor Bank will match all donations received by 20Fathoms from October 15-November 30, up to $12,000.

Programs and initiatives supported by the campaign include:

  • Startup bootcamps, including the highly-requested Indigenous Business and Marketing Essentials
  • Workshops that tackle knowledge gaps in pitching, funding, and more
  • Powering TCNewTech so it can remain a free event for all
  • The 20Fathoms Coworking Scholarship, which will provide workspace and 1:1 coaching by 20Fathoms staff to early-stage founders who are pre-revenue or low-revenue.
