This grant funding has been made possible through a new partnership between 20Fathoms, Michigan SBDC, Northern Lakes Economic Alliance, Traverse Connect, and Venture North.

“We know that it’s tough to start and run a business, especially in our rural part of the state,” said David Kronberg, Director of the Regional Small Business Support Hub at 20Fathoms. “We’ve formed this regional collaboration to bring support and unique resources directly to entrepreneurs and small business owners in Northwest Lower Michigan.”

In addition to the small business grants, entrepreneurs also have access to business consultations and coaching, educational programming, and support from professional service providers. These services are no-cost thanks to support from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

“If you’re an entrepreneur and you’re wondering where to turn for support, we’re here to help,” said David. “Reach out to 20Fathoms. We’ll have a one-on-one consultation to learn about your unique business needs and then connect you with the resources and people who can help you meet your business goals.”
