Four startups selected to pitch at the Sept. 29 TCNewTech

September 15, 2026

20Fathoms is pleased to announce the four companies selected to compete at the TCNewTech pitch competition on September 29, 4:30 – 7:30 pm, at the City Opera House in Traverse City.

Pitch presenters:

New Earth Network, LLC
The New Earth Community Platform is a member-supported, ad-free social platform built for the conscious living community. Unlike Facebook or YouTube, members gather based on shared values and interests rather than on an algorithm’s guess, and creators are rewarded with a share of platform revenue instead of being forced to fight for engagement. The New Earth Network, LLC pitch will be presented by Dagny Monette and Lori Perkins.

Codura
Codura builds low-cost, solar-powered smart buoys that give lake associations, marinas, and sailing clubs real-time wave, storm, and water-condition data for their own stretch of water, at a price small organizations can actually afford. Long term, they are building a mesh of connected buoys across the Great Lakes region, a hyperlocal freshwater data layer that doesn’t exist today. The Codura pitch will be presented by Chris Krieg.

Luigi Solutions LLC
Luigi Solutions is building Luigi OS, an AI platform that lets nontechnical business owners build and own custom software, powered by Luigi Codes, their fine tuned coding model. Unlike other tools in this category, Luigi OS requires a guided question flow before any code is written, tests against the customer’s real records rather than sample data, and holds a gate that either passes or does not publish. The Luigi Solutions LLC pitch will be presented by Kalob Hagen.

Novelty AIR, LLC
Novelty AIR is building the next generation of FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician schools through a technology-enabled, hybrid education platform. By eliminating the traditional requirement for large centralized campuses, we dramatically reduce startup costs while expanding access to high-quality aviation workforce training nationwide. Our mission is to solve the growing shortage of FAA-certified aircraftmaintenance technicians while creating a scalable platform for workforce development. The Novelty AIR pitch will be presented by Peter Lane.

The pitch presenters will compete for a $5000 first place award, $1000 finalist awards, and $500 audience favorite award.

Beyond the Pitch

A Startup Expo will also be held in the lobby of the City Opera House before and after the competition.

The community is invited to attend this fun and inspiring event. There is no cost to attend. Reserve your ticket (20Fathoms.org/TCNewTech).
