20Fathoms and TCNewTech are long-time partners supporting the Grand Traverse Region’s entrepreneurs. This month, they are excited to announce that 20Fathoms will serve as the Main Sponsor of TCNewTech for the remainder of 2022.
“TCNewTech is like the heart and soul of Traverse City’s startup community,” said Eric Roberts, Executive Director of 20Fathoms. “While our organizations are separate, we have always worked together very closely and we’re excited to now have the opportunity to provide this additional level of support by serving as the Main Sponsor.”
TCNewTech is a pillar in Traverse City’s startup community. Through their monthly pitch competitions, local entrepreneurs have the space and opportunity to share their businesses for a chance to win prize money, gain exposure, and make valuable connections. More so, these events serve as a gathering space for members of Traverse City’s tech and startup community to stay connected and learn about new opportunities.
The next TCNewTech pitch event will be held Tuesday, July 5, at the City Opera House in Traverse City. Doors open at 5:30 and the program begins at 6 pm with the premiere of Rural Edge: Traverse City, a new video about the growth of Traverse City’s startup community. Following the premiere, local investors will take the stage to pitch their funding opportunities in this special reverse pitch competition. Registration is recommended.
