Ride Cave
Ride Cave is the all-in-one platform where cyclists train, race, and connect. It’s the first to bring velodrome racing to the masses through immersive 3D track experiences, paired with AI coaching that adapts to your goals and a growing community that keeps riders connected. Instead of juggling multiple apps that each do one thing well, Ride Cave brings training, competition, and social together in a single experience — so you spend less time switching tools and more time on the bike. The Cave Work pitch will be presented by Ben Snyder.
Little Loop
Little Loop is a mobile app that helps families of medically complex kids teach everyone who cares for their child — grandparents, sitters, school nurses, coaches — to do it the same way the parent does. Each caregiver gets short, plain-language tutorials built around the child’s real doses, equipment, and routines. Parents can also send a one-time link that lets a new sitter step in without creating an account. Little Loop is starting with Type 1 Diabetes families and expanding to the 14 million U.S. kids with special health care needs, priced per household so the whole village is covered for one flat price. The Little Loop pitch will be presented by Laramie Bates.
Score Canvas
Video games are a $200 billion industry — bigger than music and movies combined — and the music behind them is a real, full-time job that almost no music school teaches. Students who want those jobs leave the field, because there is nowhere to learn the craft. The few programs that try to teach it have to license expensive professional software, set up game-development labs, and find a working industry pro willing to come teach — a cost stack out of reach for community colleges and high schools, and prohibitive even for top conservatories. Score Canvas removes all of that. It is a web browser, a curriculum, and a textbook in one product — and the schools that adopt it can teach this on day one. The Score Canvas pitch will be presented by Ted Kocher.
squarefoot.earth
squarefoot.earth is a video game platform where the game world maps 1:1 to real-world conservation projects with a goal of driving engagement, education, and fundraising. Users can walk around a virtual map, watch live-streamed restoration work, look at wildlife through trail cameras, and digitally collect plant, insect, and animal species. To help fund the restoration work, users can purchase space in the virtual map, decorate it to reflect their personality, and share it with others to show their support. The squarefoot.earth pitch will be presented by Ryan Haveson.
The pitch presenters will compete for a $5000 first place award, $1000 finalist awards, and $500 audience favorite award.
Beyond the Pitch
A Startup Expo will also be held in the lobby of the City Opera House before and after the competition featuring all-local organizations, startups, and businesses.
